It all started here. The Series I is the complete collection of what it means to be an Alembic. The laminated through neck and the sandwiched exotic hardwood top made a unique statement in 1974 and still rings through to today.
This instrument features the hand made low impedance pickups that have produced the unique and rounded alembic sound that has filled record and CD grooves for the last 50 years. They are mated with the transparent and powerful Alembic Preamps. Finally, the high headroom signal flows through a pair of 12db lowpass filters with three selectable Q settings.
