No player has been more important to the history of Alembic than Stanley Clarke. His early and enthusiastic adoption of the Alembic Bass has transformed not only the music he makes but the careers of many talented bassist in the last 50 years. We can never thank him enough.

The Brown Bass is probably the most classic Alembic Model every made. It features a short scale bass built using all of the classic Alembic Features. Available in a variety of tone woods, and built around the Series I electronics, you can find that classic Stanley Tone, or find your own.
